About Semi-Permanent Make-up
Semi-permanent make-up is a revolutionary method of applying micro-insertions of natural pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. The pigment is made of a natural iron oxide, it is hypo-allergenic and there are no fragrances, emollients or other ingredients added. Your preferred colour is implanted into a lower layer of the skin where it remains for up to five years. The pigments used are virtually limitless in the choice of colour available. This state of the art technique is medically proven and specifically designed to be completely safe.
With semi-permanent make-up you eliminate the chore of having to apply, reapply and remove make-up every day and it will always look professionally applied. Imagine waking up looking good feeling confident that your eyebrows, eyeliner or lip liner are perfectly in place.

Common questions and answers

How would I know what colour to choose?
Virtually any colour can be mixed to complement your natural skin tone, we discuss with you ideas and make suggestions to choose the perfect colours that will suit you best.

Does it look natural?
Very natural - your features look more defined, only you will know the difference.

How long will it last?
This varies with each individual, though the expectation is between 3 - 5 years.

Does it hurt?
There is very minimal discomfort, we use topical anaesthetics to greatly reduce any discomfort and promote relaxation. Majority of clients feel nothing except a prickly sensation in the area being treated.

Is there a chance of infection?
Safety is priority, only new sterile dispoaible needles which are opened in your presence are used for your complete safety.

How long does it take to heal?
Between 4 - 7 days, depending on the procedure you've had done.

What is the healing period like?
On the second day after the procedure, a light crust will form which is dry to the touch, this will fall off in a few days. during this time the pigment area may look darker than what you decided upon. Once the crust flakes off it is common for the colour to lighted by up to 30%.

How soon can I go out?
Immediately. The colour may appear a little darker than usual in the first few days. The crusting is only slightly visible, but usually never really noticeable.
